Silver Moon Cafe - Santa Rosa

We were staying at the motel across the parking lot and decided that even though it was fffreezing outside we would walk over and try the local fair. The wait to be seated was quite long, but the merchandise area was interesting and kept us occupied. We had the fried mushroom appetizer then I had the Chicken New Mexico and my wife had the Mushroom Jack Fajitas. The service was awesome and the food well prepared and presented. The breading on the fried mushrooms wasn?t my favorite, but it was good. All in all it was good experience.

Fantastic!!! There is a nice shop with local merchandise for sale inside of the restaurant. All of the people working here are so sweet and we received great friendly service. The food was amazing!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. There is a large menu and daily specials.

Very clean restaurant and toilets! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, quiet culinary experience. It is a must stop being a historical landmark of Route 66. The coffee was good and strong!

Have eaten here several times over the last 20 years with mixed results. The food is generally good, but the service can sometimes be somewhat subduing. Order her usual special, Sante Fe Enchiladas with beans and posole. The blue corn chicken nchiladas were as usual delicious: and I actually like their pinto beans, as to the generic fried beans most places served. Yes, would I? prefer some Mexican rice instead of posole; but they no longer serve rice. Chips n salsa were okay, but nothing special. Overall, the food of this visit was really good. Service of this visit was actually much better than the norm: The order was taken quickly, and everything brought sharp Paspel and in a contemporary mansion. So there's no complaints about it. Overall: Although this place can drive me nuts at times, with its impermanence, it is still a good place to pack some authentic new Mexican type of food. And to give the fact that it was here forever, it is definitely worth a try. Just go with an open mind, how things here are rarely consistent?.

The absolutely best food and service. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant had the best atmosphere. Very clean and colorful. Beautiful decor and a beautiful gift shop. The food was excellent!! The most delicious Enchiladas I've ever had!! My pages were super tasteful. The salsa was spicy and delicious. I definitely come back!! Very happy customer.
