The Hostess had my order ready and knew it was mine when I got there. Nice!! Meat is real chewy, really tenderized or fatty I can't tell for sure. Very good though lots of sauce. View all feedback.
What hornet do n doesn't like about Royal China:
The food is subpar at best for price- greasy, mushy, overly sweet or salty, and Americanized to a T. Thankfully, the atmosphere and staff (minus the somewhat brusque and abrupt owner) are great, with friendly servers and extremely fast service, but the food's undeniably mid.On a separate note, there was a physical altercation between the staff members around a month ago, which the manager did not stop nor discourage.... Are you Serious!!! Now open Mondays! Virtually every Chinese Restaurant is closed on Mondays for what I thought to be cultural reasons cause....why wouldn't a popular restaurant be open on Mondays? Now the search is over. Royal China has been on top of their game for over a decade keeping top notch chefs to prepare authentic, no corporate filler ingredients, and fresh farm to table produce and meats to make the best Chinese dishes in town. And with a welcoming yet intimate modern ambience, this is a perfect place for business, family dinners, or intimate date nights. Hope you enjoy the new 7 days a week menu. Thank you Royal China for being so consistent with your quality of food and service.
One of my favs in Santa Rosa, great tasting food always on point! Friendly service too.

Thankfully, the atmosphere and staff (minus the somewhat brusque and abrupt owner) are great, with friendly servers and extremely fast service, but the food's undeniably mid.On a separate note, there was a physical altercation between the staff members around a month ago, which the manager did not stop nor discourage. Not only did it frighten the customers, including me, but it led to a deeply uncomfortable dining experience. The wait staff seem to have undergone great changes since, and while they're still very friendly, it makes me wonder about any possible mismanagement at play.
I had a great experience dining here. I came for dinner and all the dishes I ordered were fresh and delicious. The walnut prawns are made with a very good sauce which paired nicely with rice. I also enjoyed the chow mien and hot and sour soup. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the server was sweet and helpful. I will be coming here again!
