We stopped here on our first night in town. Having ridden all day in an assortment of transports from Tierradentro, we were looking for something quick and uncomplicated when a man pointed out this cafe adjacent to the Iglesia de San Agustín and Supermerado Olimpica. The waitress produced a menu and we chose chicken and mushroom wraps. We sat outside on one of the 2 small sidewalk tables, people watching, and soon we... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Macizo Coffee:
The place struggles to be either cafeteria of restaurant? The prices for the food are rather expensive compared to the town average, but the coffee snd juices are good value - however no cakes to go with the coffee.. Also the toilet is URINARY only because they don't have ventilation anf you can get fined 10 000 COP if you... well you know...LOL. View all feedback.
Great coffee and delicious desserts. Worth a stop to breakfast or a snack. I wouldn't have lunch or dinner here, but not enough vegetarian options. You should offer more.
I recommend that the maracafe of Sargmilch Maracuya's juice is mixed. In this restorer you will find Creps, Dessert and many types of coffee
We discovered this cafe on our second day in San Agustín and came back every day for the next three! Lovely juices (especially the mango, maracuya and hierba buena one). We also tried some of the food and enjoyed the wraps and the arepas. Great...location on the square (with some tables outside) and efficient staff.

Our hunger was quickly satiated with the tasty chicken chunks. Great food for $9. The next day resting at their Fuente Del Lavapatas annex in the Archeological Park, we enjoyed their mochaccino and granita($2.50) along with many others.
