We went for a day trip to Playa Salguero and had a late lunch here. We ordered the fish soup and grilled sea bass and both were reasonably priced and delicious. They even called a cab for us at the end of our meal! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Chef Del Mar:
This restaurant is located il calle 23 close to Playa Salguero. It is made in two rooms , one with air conditioned , the other one without it. The rooms are very simple there are several tables and space for groups of people. The menu is based on fish specialty they have also a choice of steak ,pasta and other things for who do not want the fish. I got a shrimps soup and a shrimps salad , the soup was good but a litt... I recomend to go and make sure you have a nice experience, this is a confortabel place to spend a family lunch time
We stopped in a morning shortly after 1100 hoping for breakfast (as they advertised breakfast), but all that was available was the lunch menu. I ordered the Dorado filled with cheese and shrimp in a tropical salsa. The fish was good, but the salsa was very sweet when the fruit was in a little syrup. It's a pretty pricy restaurant for this area.
La comida es excelente y la atención es inmejorable, desde que comenzamos con el Chef Leonardo atendiéndonos personalmente en la playa y ahora en su restaurante, no ha habido un año en el que no hayamos visitado. Estamos hablando desde el 2000 o incluso antes. ¡Un gran abrazo Chef, de parte de tus amigos Francisco Torrado (el Puertorriqueño) y su esposa (la Paisa)!
Un restaurante muy bueno con un ambiente agradable. Los platos son deliciosos y el servicio es excelente.
