This is a family run place with fans helping move the air. Not a lot of ambience but good food and reasonable. Their tacos are excellent and the meals are substantial we return each year but tend to miss it often due to not noticing it from the street. We will be back. View all feedback.

Recommended by locals the first time I went I had a Chicken Torta, chicken was dry. Tlayudas and pozole were ok it definitely had a taste of authentic food from Oaxaca, service could improve. View all feedback.
My husband and I ate here twice in one week, on a whim, when hungry and off hours. The two ladies were friendly and happy at work. The tlyudas were delicious. I have never had pozole , so I tried it here...delicious. Going back next week.
We sampled a lot on the menu and everything was very good. The tlayudas were cooked perfectly and the tostadas were the best we 've had. The cost for 7 people to eat there was almost the same as it was for one of us to eat at a fancy restaurant in Huatulco. Highly recommend!

This place is great for going to sit for a refreshing drink while looking at their wonderful menu full of many delicious plates. Food here is very fresh so it is worthwhile to try something new. For the most part whatever you chose to eat, it will be a delight
We had several people, all local to Huatulco, suggest we try Arelys if we wanted to taste some of the local dishes. Our group of four concluded, after several dinners in town, this place by far surpassed any other meals we had on our stay. The ambiance might not be what you expect, however the experience and food were more than enough to leave us wanting to come back to this spot. The food is amazing. We had their Alambres (pork and chicken), Mole Negro con Arroz, and Enchiladas Verdes. Each meal was delicious. Excellent range of salsa provided and a wide range of cervezas and a variety of drinks. Try the Mescal for a different treat. The service was exceptional even to the point when we couldn't quite understand what comprised the Alambres the waiter brought out a small plate with each main ingredient. The price was unbelievably inexpensive for the meals and drinks we had. I will add we all felt very welcome into the restaurant and were pleased to be among many locals. We will start with this restaurant the next time we arrive in this beautiful spot in Mexico.
