This is your typical beach restaurant in set-up. The service was friendly enough, just completely disorganized so we waited and re-ordered a bit. The menu has a wide variety, mainly seafood, with standard prices. I had the "Camarones Habanero Loko" and they were delicious: very fresh and flavourful and not as hot as you might think. They also have Modelo draft on tap, amber and lager. It was a very relaxing and satis... View all feedback.

We met up with some friends that are locals there for a fun night of dancing. The staff was very nice and willing to accommodate to our music choices. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and it was ok. Our friends had pizza and said it was very good. I would go back here for dancing and the drinks. Not so much for the food. View all feedback.
Our second time in Hualtuco and visit El Habinero Lolo on Santa Cruz Bay. The hosts, Marie and Dony (that's right, Donny and Marie) are funny, gracious and cordial. Food and drinks were good, and there is a speciality to consider. It is a great place to get out of the sunlight next to the beach.
Our 2nd time visit El Habanero Loko. Margaritas are the best. Cheap prices for beer and margaritas. Food is also great. The hotel is located on the beach in Santa Cruz. Free wifi. Local band also plays there. By March 2020
In the last 4 months since I moved to Mexico I have only ever experienced great food and good prices and always with fantastic service even in the humblest cantina. Until today. Appalling service, disgusting food, almost all of which has gone cold, ridiculously expensive,...incorrect bills, dirty tables, litter everywhere. Avoid this place like the plague it’s among the worst places I have ever eaten. Had my Mexican family here and I was embarrassed.
Wonderful staff, always smiling. Pizza is best in town in my opinion and I tried others in the area. Owner was on staff and served at bar. Amazing person and extremely friendly. He even went out of his way to find my friend a special...item that he could not find in town. Also owns the same restaurant in USA. Owner makes his own mechelada and it’s amazing. Everything I come to Huatulco I will stop here eat, smile, laugh and drink...because they make some good ones.
Also this restaurant for a food bank drive that was great, it looked like many people threw rice and beans off. We ordered Steak Special there and we were very disappointed. The Ribeye Steak was about 6 ounces and a full third... it was fat. The steak came with three onions and three mushrooms, then halfway through hard steak brought them something toast. You've charged a little for this meal, what I guess shouldn't be a surprise, but very disappointing.
