I love looking for good Mexican food. I traveled to the graphs for work and decided to try vaqueras. I came there and they were closed because it was Monday, so I found this sweet little place and decided to try it. I have the carne asada burrito and I was not disappointed. before it came, they brought a bowl of chips with a hot bean dip. that always increases my experience in a restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hugo's Family:
Good place if you like extra protein in the form of a cockroach. No bathroom available. What little I ate of the food tasted good, but instantly lost appetite when the cockroach crawled across the table. Not the floor, not the walls... On my table. Unacceptable. I'd advise people to find a better Mexican restaurant in the area than Hugo's. View all feedback.
Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine in santa maria. embedded in a small stripe mall it is easy to overlook. they have this amazing surf and turf burrito tuco burrito,) which I highly recommend.

We ordered two breakfast burritos to go, sounds simple enough. When we arrived to pick them up the two TOTALLED $50! We had asked for one veggie and one with meat, no explaination just a ridiculous bill, should have walked out!
I should have check the reviews before going there. The tamale I ordered( to go)had gone bad, the menudo was super salty and tasted like it was from a can, and the birria was all bones. Never goin back there again.
Their food is horrible. It taste like it is from a can and over salted. I would never eat there again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.
