I'm a baker and I love bakeries, one of them is gina a piece of cake. a few times I watched a worker who touched her nose before he served a muffin and another time licked her finger while decorating a cake. I'm sorry, but the employees need to improve in this matter. View all feedback.
I used to love it here. But the cake I received on my last visit was mediocre at best. Prices are up with the world is understandable, but the product quality has gone down. Cakes are pretty but our pink champagne cake was quite dry and my guests wouldn't even eat it. At this price point a dry cake is unacceptable. They also no longer put the shavings on it like they used to. Disappointing since this was one of my favorite bakeries. I will be going elsewhere in the future.
Gina's piece of cake definitely wowed me and exceeded my expectations! This was my wedding cake and it was truly a beautiful master piece! I would absolutely recommend them for any special event cake order. They did amazing all my guests absolutely loved the cake! We are so happy with how it turned out! Not to mention the staff is all very sweet and attentive to your needs!
One of the best cakes I've ever order, made to perfection for my 1st grandbaby. They took my order over the phone, I then emailed some design ideas and they produced a beautiful cake inside and out. Thank you again Gina's Piece of Cake for the great experience beginning to end.
Since we moved to Santa Maria in 2019, I've been ordering birthday cakes for my kids from Gina's. As a vegan family, we can confidently say that Gina's makes the BEST vegan cake around. Our guests always rave about how delicious it is. Gina's is simply outstanding!
I know that some of the staff members are usually great at taking orders, but during this visit, we encountered a very rude employee. She didn’t get our order right; I asked for one thing, and she brought us something completely different.
