this restaurant, hands down, has the best view of the lake of any restaurant that I have visited all the atitlan lake. the view and eating make this space so special. the food was so great when I first visited that I came a few times more while I stayed 3/4 miles away. the shop in the first floor of the restaurant is also incredible. the local community creates beautiful webshops. I bought several dings from the load... View all feedback.
What Bjarke Ali doesn't like about Cafe Sabor Cruceno:
I really don't like to leave bad reviews but I think it is important to provide feedback and help other travellers. After reading many nice reviews I came here and tried the traditional Pepian with tofu. For the first time in my life I had to leave the plate barely touched. I had Pepian before in another place and the taste was good, but in this case the sauce was very bitter and powdery, very blant and lacking flavo... View all feedback.
One of the best vegetarian meals I had in Guatemala. Food was very delicious and cost economical. Look was beautiful. In the lower part of the building you can also buy handmade souvenirs and home decors.
Drinks, food, view, and service was top notch. Perfect spot for lunch or breakfast. Ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfection. Recommend ordering any of the 3 local lunch dishes. *chefs kiss* The cafe also offer weaving, beading and cooking classes. Stop by and get more info!
A really stunningly located restaurant with an amazing cause. Staff are so friendly. Food, as good as it can be in Guatemala
An amazing scheme to train the locals in the kitchen and give them space and a shop to sell their wonderful craft.
I had the pepian with Tofu, who was really delicious. The staff was super friendly and the view is simply stunning! It is also relatively cheap and the quality seems very high.
