I went to La Posada del Pez with a local friend of mine and the waiter suggested himself that we should take the tuna tatar as the fresh tuna they had that day was one of the best they had caught in months he was right that was the best tuna tatar I had in my life. Then we went for shrimps huge, delicious, in some spicy sauce and some local fish with delicate, soft, juicy meat, perfectly done. They have their own recipe for tiramisu, worth trying. I don't remember being this satisfied with a meal I had in Tenerife. I strongly recommend!
We went here for my husband's birthday whilst staying in San Andres and were delighted with the food, ambience and service. We thought it was good value for the standard of cooking. The beef main course melted in the mouth.
Have seen a few mixed reviews but for us it was best food we have had. €10 Euro taxi from Santa Cruz. The seafood was super fresh and cooked perfectly. Seemed like only locals there but staff were friendly and patient in describing the dishes on offer. Wine was varied and good value. Although not super cheap the quality was well worth the price. Take a detour there and hopefully you will be as impressed as we were.
Small local, small menu and little personal but great flavors and good product. highlight the pier and dishes cooked to the brasa. room 6 service 7 kitchen 8 price 7
Casual visit and very pleasant surprise. I arrived before the opening and they invited me, reported and created a good expectation, then fulfilled. the excellent black cherry in quality and preparation, as well as the brownie with mango ice cream, the two recommended albariños (great novas and manor da torre) and the ximenez pedro. the waiter, the chef and the cozy place offered me an unbeatable dinner. place marked on the agenda ahead.
