Great restaurant in the fishing area of the brand of our lady of Africa! have many things to choose

Today we randomly found this speciality hot spot and it was the best lunch we could ever imagine in Santa Cruz. We ordered ceviche and tuna tartar, accompanied by several ; glasses of dry local white wine. Everything freshly prepared by the chef Enrique Gomez. He loves to prepare dishes with an authentic taste of the ingredients. Less is more, and that tastes wonderful. Additionally he had many tipps for nice guachinches (typical canary island establishments for us in the north of Tenerife. The 2° Centigrados is located in the fish hall in the Mercado de Señora de África in the basement. If you are looking for a truly authentic Santa Cruz food experience, go there.

The bar can be found inside downstairs in the fish market. The staff were very friendly and spoke enough English. We only had a drink there which was nicely served. However the food that we saw served looked great, obviously lots of fish dishes but some lovely cakes were served as a dessert. The bar is situated in the middle of the fish market so plenty of local atmosphere and well worth a visit

2° Centigrade is a wonderful place to enjoy fresh local seafood prepared right before your eyes. It was really fun to watch the chef prepare the various dishes. What most impressed us was that she was fastidious, thoroughly cleaning the knife, the counter, and work area in-between each step of her process and still another wipe down at the end. If we hadn’t sampled other fare in the market, we would have had more than just the wine ceviche. Everything she was preparing looked delicious. The green apple mango ceviche was excellent, and as we have learned, folks in this area seem to like avocado in addition to the usual ingredients in their ceviche. I could easily get use to that; a nice touch and wonderful flavor!

Bonito mercado que no debe dejar de visitar en Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Tiene 2 plantas y es muy cuidadoso y limpio. Hay 2 bares que se pueden comer pescado y mariscos hecho en este momento. flores son punto y aparte por su variedad y colorido. Lo recomiendo.
