We went to Santa Cruz (nice place, but park in difficult to find), we found the Baobab restaurant in what appeared to be an older part of Santa Cruz. What welovetravel2013 doesn't like about Baobab:
The food was nothing special a bit bland and possibly heated up as we were sat near the kitchen and could not see the usually hive of activity that you would expect when food is being cooked fresh. Service Ok. They do a wide menu of food other than typical spanish dishes so probably aiming at the tourist market. In a street with a lot of other restaurants so there is a lot of competition. Not much to add to previous reviews nice location, good food, friendly staff, definitely worth a visit. Relatively quiet early on a weekday evening.
We had a lovely dinner. Food was great and staff very gentle. Definitely recommend the parmigiana and the crema catalana
Lovely place and great staff. Nothing too much trouble for them. My wife had goats cheese with mojo and I had goat stew with canarian potatoes-stunning!
Super buena comida y buena atención. Fuimos ayer con dos bebes y salimos encantandos. La empanadilla, croquetas, queso, almogrote. Muchas gracias
The attention of the staff was fabulous. the restaurant terrace is very nice because there are no cars. The letter says tapas but it's dishes. I didn't get the parmesan eggplant, the rest was rich.
