This place unfortunately seems to be permanently closed now. We went today for a visit and as we were checking if it 's open or not were told off by a grumpy man and informed that the place is closed-closed. A shame really as the location is great. Great coffee and apple pie. Lovely spot to stop on the way down to the Levada do Canico
Visited when walking the Levada do Caniço its a welcome break in either direction. It is located at the foot of the terrible cobble steps leading down to the levada from Camacha. Unfortunately no sandwiches, but a welcome beer or coffee and Apple pie.
