What John Doe doesn't like about Johnny's Harborside:
I was in a large group of 15 people. We called in advanced to make sure they could seat a group that big. The food that arrived first seemed to be fine, great even. The food that arrived for the last people, me, was rushed and not cooked properly. We, my wife, mother and I, ordered the fish and chips. One of our fish was raw in spots. Parking: $1.50 per hour Water: $7 per bottle Specials: $40 per dish Cocktails: $20 per drink Food: appropriate portion sizes, but the taste is not at all. At least not consistent. The cocktails were strong, but tasted as bad as the food. I'm told that the shells are very good. None of the other meals were satisfied. I brought most of my meals home, but I have no intention of eating it. I didn't cost my meal so I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
This place has delicious food and incredible views of the marina area! It is nice to see the windows at sunset and keep your eyes open because you only see a few sea lions!! The place is a bit expensive, but if you combine the amazing view and the delicious, super fresh seafood, it is worth it!! The bar area can make the place a bit loud, so Faire Warning, but it would be a very romantic place to go at sunset!! Our part of three shared a salad and it was crazy because we still had extra because it was pretty big. It was fresh and delicious! I got the shrimps Sampi and garlic bread and boy did not disappoint!! It was delicious this evening and I had the leftovers for dinner next night and it was just as good! Thinking about food again makes me completely hungry!
Excellent food, super good service. We have a reservation and we have a great table with the host. Then got great suggestions from the waiters. It's expensive, but you can't remove stars. The prices are in the menu here in Yelp and online. Overall a great experience
Clam chowder was super delicious! The food was fresh? but very less options to choose from? The place altogether has great service and comes with a beautiful view
Really a perfect treat. Fish right off the boat and onto our plates, into our mouths, now swimming in our belly?s and the fish seems to have had a wonderful adventure. We are all getting along fine.
