The server was fantastic, checking in on us and welcoming us promptly. We started with the shrimp roll, which was rather bland, and the duck was served quite warm. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. View all feedback.
One of the best restaurants in the larger Bay Area. I came here after reading excellent recommendations from online articles and was absolutely impressed. This Hawaiian/Island food restaurant serves a variety of high-quality dishes, appetizers and cocktails. Some of the best food we have? ve had and the original May Tai was different than anyone I ever had. We were particularly impressed by the ambience of the entire place. It?s in a consistent island theme. There are interior seats, exterior seats and hybrid windows covered seats that were really beautiful. The food came out very quickly and was delicious. Everything tastes like they have a ton of care in themselves. The service was also excellent. Everyone was kind to me and kindly explained to me their best articles that I finally ordered. This place is worth visiting from the Bay Area, or in any case you come here after a day on the beach. You won't regret it.
I don't spend a lot of 5 stars, but the Kalbi ribs deserve it. Fantastic taste. I didn't need a sauce. Just the right size. Poke Schale was also good. Fast service also on a Friday night.
Came to dinner on Saturday at 4:30 and waited at 15 minutes (which is not bad). Usually waiting times are a bit longer on weekends) we sat inside what I love the tiki vibe. We got edamame and calamari for appetizers that were both very good and came out pretty fast. I have the fish tacos that were just fine, and my guest got the poke dish that was delicious. This place is busy, but if you get a place, it's worth it.
Delicious food! This restaurant is really sweet and definitely have some Hawaiian vines in it. Our experience was excellent. We immediately took place, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our food was delicious and no complaints. We ordered both fish and both dishes were excellent. If you dare downtown Santa Cruz, this place is worth checking.
