Excellent craft cocktail bar right in Santa Cruz! I tried the Electric Boogaloo which had a perfect blend of rums tropical fruits, with bitters to add some complexity depth. Wish I had more time to try more cocktails on the menu, as they all sounded phenomenal! Can’t wait to visit again! Earned 4x AMEX points with the American Express Gold card! View all feedback.
What Lucie Treutel doesn't like about Front Cooper:
Short staffed quite the line. Bartender was going as fast as he could though. Drinks were strong but nice balance one of them was a very small amount for what I paid tho. Really cool set up. View all feedback.
A great high class cocktail experience great bartenders. Just a little expensive. *update with covid restrictions lifting this place was amazing live music with lots of dancing and fun. Drinks were delicious but again expensive .
Excellent craft cocktails with a special menu of interesting drinks unique in the bar. I had a Pi Crew Sour encanto pisco, orange acid and acidic beer with what they called a schezwan buzz button on the rim. Start the drink and then eat the flower, then enjoy the rest from the new perspective. The flower was Acmella oleracea and has some interesting effects. I will go back to try the rest very recommended. There is a separate wine, beer bar towards the main dining area as well.
Good cocktails and nice atmosphere there at Abbot Square. And if you're not drinking and want something n/a, I wholly recommend their house ginger beer!
Absolutely love this little hidden jewel! The bartenders are so wonderful what they do and create so beautiful drinks! Love it! Images are the Juicy Juicy and the 10,000 Emerald Pools
A friendly bar located in the back of Abbott Square Market! They have a big variety of affordable cocktails to choose from. Many fruity ones, some gin tonics, non-alc options, etc. I tried the Dragonfly cocktail. I was surprised to see a cocktail with lychee in it! It is a fairly rare find in such a westernized-bar. It was served in a pretty coupe glass. The cocktail itself was VERY strong. I didn't taste any lychee (besides the garnish), but that bourbon definitely shines through. This drink got me feeling quite buzzed to say the least. I also tried a sip of my friend's Pennyroyal Tea cocktail and this drink was more refreshing light
