What Brandie L doesn't like about Beach Street Cafe:
Miserable woman running the place. She makes people wait outside until she's ready for them even when the place isn't busy. Witnessed her make an elderly woman stand outside for 20 min while making fun of her for looking in the door. Total power trip and super rude. Been going there couple times a year for the last 10 years, family tradition. Never again. View all feedback.

This is as down to earth as a beach street cafe can get. Huge portions! Extremely friendly staff, quaint environment, and yes, sign yourself in at the door! I’ll be back next time I’m in Santa Cruz!
Lady working had a bad attitude and was unfriendly. She snatched our menus away when we tried ordering only drinks. Would not recommend.
Although it was a cute place across from the boardwalk, The lady behind the counter seemed rude and not inviting. Although the waitress was friendly that served us,the Caucasian manager was rude to other patrons coming in and had them wait outside even though there were open tables for them to sit at. A person like this should not be working at a restaurant with no skills of customer service whatsoever. I witnessed a mother and daughter leaving because of the bad vibes this lady was giving off.
