Great old school diner style food located in beautiful yacht marina. Lots of dogs playing in the grass. Cool boats to look at. The food was solid. No complaints, good portions, and served hot. I enjoyed the friendly staff and would love to go back and eat there again. Note that the mimosa was big and I asked to mix it myself and they brought it out perfectly for my liking. What Jett Rogahn doesn't like about Aldo's Harbor:
thought i already rated this. this was on jan. 4. where i started to get the rona. i mean the food was fine. nothing bad except the service for greeting in was alright. just feel segregated as one server deals with others than the whites. too much info but the food was okey. View all feedback.
I went to this restaurant on the 9th april 2022 and received terrible service. we were a party of 3 and were behind an older couple. we arrived at 245. the older couple before us was greeted and sitting without problems. we said we couldn't sit because the kitchen was closed. when asked why the older and white couple could sit in front of us, we got a few answers, we are closed, the kitchen is now closed. we wanted to talk to a manager and the most sluggish thing came out. she was insanely loud and made us aware. we have pointed out to hear a single word and repeatedly said, no, we will not sit with them when we ask for the owners information they refused to give. we leave our car, but sit and wait to see how they treat all the others who have come to sit (because they were not closed in the did) and a great party was set after us. that were absolutely discriminatory measures. we are black and mexicans. the older couple sitting before us was white and the party sitting after us was white. this place has disgusting practices is openly discriminatory against people of color. No staring and I hope they close.
Such a cool spot where one can enjoy the amazing weather and the views of the harbor with all the boats. Dog friendly restaurant for sure all the servers were exceptionally and helpful. It’s gets really back once lunch hours started. Love how you are not rushed but encouraged to chill and enjoy the moments. Be present and enjoy the journey. They have some tasty greyhounds with homemade grapefruit juice.

Very relaxed outdoor restaurant right in the middle of the local Marina of Santa Cruz! I was reluctant to come back and try Aldo's because of repeated bad experiences many years ago. Now, however, I can say that this place is rocking! Our service was excellent and our food was very well prepared. I had a BLT sandwich post Thanksgiving attempt at moderation). A light and satisfying bun and fresh bacon and avocado made this sandwich really stand out. Others in my party loved thier food also! Try this restaurant if you want good food and a beautiful view.
Lovely location, overlooking the Santa Cruz Harbor. Great service. My Prawn quesadilla was delicious, as were our cocktails, but my wife's Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos were less than spectacular. We will definitely come back (just won't order the fish tacos again.
