Wine 661 - Santa Clarita

Two words... The best! Wine 661 is not only a large wine bar with exceptional selection of wines, they also serve amazing dishes. What distinguishes this bar from all the others I was is the ambience, live music and especially its owner Tanya! She makes everyone feel at home and is very attentive to all her girls. The mood in there you have to learn about yourself to know what I'm talking about. It is definitely a must to visit and again and again.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This is the best wine bar in Santa Clarita. Not just because of the amazing wine selection or the great customers that always make you feel comfortable, or the great snack selections prepared with care (see pic of charcuterie platter below), but most importantly because Tanya, the amazing owner, is always happy to see her customers when they come in whether your a regular or in for the first time. She welcomes you with open arms and is genuinely excited to serve you wine, and give you all of the fantastic info about it, and serve it in the proper glass. I thought that there were different glasses for white and red but had no idea there were specifically different glasses for different varietels. Who knew there was a proper glass for Pinot Noir? TANYA. I like going in any night of the week, but definitely join the Facebook page to find out when there are certain tasting nights or live music. Not to be missed. Always worth it and a fun night. Wine 661 is my happy place!

In addition to the fabulous selection of wines, the atmosphere is so welcoming and personal. It reminds me of the TV show Cheers where everybody knows your name! I have been coming to Wine 661 for 5 years and have always been welcomed with open arms. From the customers to the staff, it 's an all around great experience, every time. Can 't say enough good things!

After passing by it a few times on the way to the neighboring stores, I was intrigued by the opportunity to find a relaxing place to wind down and enjoy an evening that's different from most bars. Here are the 5 reasons why I gave it 5 stars. 1) The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. The crowd seemed to be on the more intelligent and sophisticated. What I needed after a long week of work. 2) Tanya was a great host, accommodating and knows her wines. I've been on a search for a buttery chardonnay (which are rare), and she knew exactly what I wanted and had one chilled and ready to pour. 3) Wonderful cheese and charcuterie selection. In fact, I asked Tanya to just select something that would pair well, and what I got was perfect. Warmed brie with a spicy jam, wonderfully sliced meats, and perfect crackers to compliment. 4) The parking was really convenient. I know we're in SCV, but even sometimes having to find a spot at the mall or Towne Center can be quite a stressful event. 5) The people, a great place that attract like minded people. I made a few new friends that had wonderful insights on life. Thanks for making a busy week balanced and fun. I definitely plan to make this place my go to evening venue.
