This restaurant is definitely worth the price. The service is excellent, especially if you ask for Ishaan for recommendations. He is very helpful, as are all the staff there. For vegans, there are plenty of options available, just ask your server. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, especially given the high quality. If you're on a budget, they offer a lunch buffet every day of the week. The menu is diverse... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Royal Tandoor:
Didn't want to judge from an experience, so gave them a few more visits... Unfortunately, every experience was terrible and every time just got worse. It took 2.5 hours to attend food with only one other party. Server was not visible and difficult to get their attention. Order placed via the phone says ready in 30 minutes, hours later they did not begin to make / forget about the order. Lack of service and hospitalit... View all feedback.
The best Indian buffets around for miles! It's just simply outstanding that they offer so many options and it's a great place for people who have never had Indian food to try out. An awesome spot for dinner too with a full bar and heavy pouring. :

Royal Tandoor is a reasonable choice for Indian curries, but not the best, easy because they add too much salt, even if I ask less. Good Indian curries should be tasteful, not excessively salty. I have eaten in countless Indian restaurants, in many cities; also, I cook curries at home; I was never challenged with such salty dishes. Nevertheless, in my humble opinion, in Santa Clarita, Royal Tandoor is better than the alternatives.
We cost our meal here. The service was fair, but nothing important, as the food consisted of lack of attention. They really had great veg and non-veg options for decent price. I'll see if we're in the area.
Really, really good tandoori chicken. Naan was excellent, too. Definitely check it out if you're looking for this cuisine at a fair price for the serving size. I've heard the buffet us a great deal, too, but haven't had it firsthand.
