My friend and I arrived around 3 PM and found the restaurant completely empty, so we were seated right away. The service was incredibly attentive—my water was refilled constantly. Our waiter was friendly, answering all our questions and providing excellent recommendations, which was especially helpful since it was our first experience with this style of Indian cuisine. The restaurant's decor is pleasant; it's not ove... View all feedback.
Very good food, fresh and tasty. Large portions, but on plates such as chicken, rice and garbanzo beans. You have to buy it separately which then drives the price up. The good thing is, most other places that serve their cuisine close between 3 and 5 so this is good to appease cravings. It isn't fancy at all, but super good.
I’ve been here twice and tried the butter chicken, chicken pakora, chicken tika masala, chicken vindaloo, chilli chicken, garlic naan, mango lichee, and veda ko masu and everything was absolutely delicious. The mango lichee is my new favorite drink, bar none. This is a great place to eat family style so you can try as many dishes as possible! The spice-levels tend to run milder though, so don’t be surprised if you order medium and then can’t tell it’s supposed to have a heat factor. Both times my group was the only one in the restaurant. I’d hate to see this place close because people didn’t know about it! The ambiance is a bit lacking (there isn’t any music, so it’s very very quiet and it could use some touch up paint in a couple places), but the food more than makes up for it and the staff is also extremely friendly. The chef comes out and personally talks to everyone who eats his food. Cultural Note: be aware that in many cultures it’s considered rude for the server to bring you the check if you don’t ask for it; it’s as though they were telling you to leave. Just be aware that you need to ask for your check here.
I have no idea what some of these reviews are talking about. Delicious and authentic indian food, very friendly owners (family business) and reasonable prices. The butter chicken is a family favorite, especially with the garlic naan and pillau rice. Lots of gluten free choices too, which my wife appreciates. We always have to ask for boxes to take the extra food home. Location is so-so but the food and staff definitely make up for that
Amazing food and friendly staff. I have tried several dishes all have been flavorful with large portions. I would recommend this place as The Place to eat at in Santa Clarita.
This is one of my family's favorite restaurants, hardly a week goes by without us getting something from here. The owners are wonderful people and the food is amazing. If you are looking for flavorful vegetarian or vegan options definitely hit this place up. For the Pokémon fans out there, the lotus mural is a Pokémon Gym, so you can battle while you eat! I suggest ordering the sweet Naan, it really hits the spot after a meal!
