Lathrop Café is decent. It has lovely staff, decent coffee, good cookies and pastries made in store, and loads of quiet space to work and talk. A lot of students and professors use it for casual interviews, working on laptops, things like that. It's clean, spacious, quiet, and friendly. The cooked food, however, is really not great. I like the breakfast sandwich, but otherwise I'd generally avoid it. I go to Lathrop... View all feedback.
What Alex Kaiser Boulton McKeehan doesn't like about Lathrop Library:
They charged $70 for turning in a camcorder for a student project several days late. They charged a separate late fee for the LENS CAP and the USB. $10+ each. That’s after I appealed it, too. Very unfair practice when students are already tight on money. This blocked me from checking out a book I needed for a midterm. View all feedback.
Gonna love it and scary if you want scary stuff or beautiful stuff

I have been using the tech desk laptop rentals, and the process is simple; however their policies are not flexible. I have a personal computer that I am no longer able to use; I have been relying on the tech desk since I have been waiting on Stanford financial aid to assist me with buying a new computer. Recently, I was forced to return a laptop, because of a policy that they must have one laptop in possession at a time. This policy has forced me to be without a laptop. I wonder how they could have left themselves with 0 laptops at the end of the day and force me to return my laptop.
Clean, never busy, but very tiny food portions for the prices.
