I was craving Tapsilog so we drove for more than an hour to try Tapsilog Cantina. The ambiance feels like home, the servers and owner were friendly. The service was fast and the food servings were large. The food was good and we will surely come back! View all feedback.
A Filipino Delight in Santa Clara!I recently had the pleasure of dining outside at Tapsilog in Santa Clara on a Sunday morning with a party of 8 and I must say it was a delightful experience. As a Filipino food enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for authentic flavors, and Tapsilog did not disappoint. The ambiance outside was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a family gathering. The menu offered a wide variety of Filipino dishes.I ordered the lychee sangria (20oz), sizzling pork tator tots with sisig with a side of garlic rice. The pork sisig was amazing, perfectly cooked, and had the fries had right amount of flavor. The garlic fried rice was fragrant and of course, the lychee sangria paired perfectly on this warm morning. My wife ordered the keto burrito with tocino. The portion size was generous (feeds two people) and the prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The service was friendly and attentive (if you sit outside, order inside before seating), adding to the overall enjoyable experience. If you're craving authentic Filipino cuisine in Santa Clara, Tapsilog is the place to be. Whether you're a Filipino food aficionado or new to this cuisine, I highly recommend giving Tapsilog a try. It's a taste of the Philippines right here in California!
