What User doesn't like about Hungry Hound:
My hot dog had a piece of bone in it. If I had bit down harder, I probably would have chipped a tooth. Restroom out of order. Unfortunately, Not what it used to be pre-pandemic. Prices were somewhat reasonable.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.

From the time you walk in you can smell the small town scent. The place is decorated with beautiful wooden tables and benches, like what you would find at a country cookout. The lady who took my order was pleasant, and I asked for a suggestion and she told me the burger, so I took it. The price was ok, being from Texas it was a bit expensive but I understand why. In total it was 17.95 for a burger, fries and drink. It was only about a five minute wait, but I was shocked at the portion that I was given. It was big, and I can tell you that I had to sit for about 10 minutes after I had finished eating because I was so full. The burger was juicy, and wasn't greasy at all. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy like they had just been picked. The bread was soft and held up to the juices of the burger without falling apart. The fries were thick, crunchy on the outside, but soft and warm on the inside. With all this together, it reminded me of home (Texas). Even though I am only here for 4 weeks for work, I will be stopping by again to try their chili dog.
This place is so good I've been going here since I was little and still continue to go as well as good sized burgers for the price
Who puts a falafel inside a tortilla along with pickles and no tzatziki? The grilled ham and cheese was exactly just that, low grade ham and American cheese, not even a tomato. Would I go back, No. Did I pay too much for what I got? yes! I try to support local small businesses. But I think they could step up the quality. Two stars because the fries and root beer float were good.
