Excellent service with good food! We really enjoyed the chips and salsa and pico de gallo. We ordered the Carne asada burrito lunch plate and enjoyed it. Something felt missing from the Burrito when it was a bit dirty and not juicy, but more on the dry side. Carne asada was wet and was not grilled. View all feedback.

Best Mexican food ever! I don’t live in SJ anymore and when I come to visit I plan my landing in time to have lunch at El Amigo. It’s the first place I go after getting off the plane. I haven’t found food this good in any other state I’ve lived in or visited.
Such a cool place with a touch of authentic and family home cooking.
The best mexican food in my opinion! If it's good enough for Dave Meniketti, It's good enough for me! P.S. The mole is the BOMB!
My Mother and I have been going here for years. The food and service are always wonderful! The prices are low the portions are large. They even have wifi!
