Brad's Split Coconut

There is nothing better than sneaking a table on the beach in brad’s splint coconut, kicking off your sandals and digging your zehen into the sand while biting into one of its delicious smoked fish tacos. the menu is not extensive, but it doesn't have to be....I was there three times and I ordered the smoked fish every time and was never disappointed. hubby ordered the black and said it was very good. it is a great place to watch the amazing sunsets. we were there on a Friday night and there was live entertainment. we took the last table at the place in this night.

The live music was beautiful here. That's what it is. they have been eating out of everything before we are there! the dogs have stolen the show. barking, and chasing, almost knocking someone's chair over and hanging under the tables that are on. or also. I don't think there's any reason I'd ever go back.

I give this an average review because the whole scene brought the rating down. The ribs were amazing. For sure. The band was fun as live music is. The service was pretty good considering how crazy busy it was. The marg was gross. No flavour...and cheap for a reason. It was the whole mostly seniors scene and a lot of ex pat types that I was not into. Not the crowd I want to hang with and a hell of a lot Québécois regularly go here so it seemed like a hang out for them. We were happy to be staying down in Brisas De Zicatela with a you get vibe and some very very good places to eat. This may be your scene but not ours even though we are close to 60. Enjoy the ribs though !

Nice spot to watch the sunset, have a good meal, a drink and listen to live entertainment. Right on the beach the little pub serves good food. Staff are friendly and they usually have live music most nights. Only negative are the dogs that hang...around looking for leftovers.

The vibe can best be described as "elderly canadian". as if you wanted something warmer, but really wished you had never left toronto, i.e. hockey night in canada on the bar tw. if they are not regular, and most seemed to be waiting for you...looooong wait for table service, and will probably get their own drinks from the bar. custom ripening, especially if they never had good ripening. they can be better almost anywhere on the beach.
