The most interesting were the beds. They had a different strength for everyone, so my wife could enjoy the harder mattress while sleeping in the softer one. It is just a few minutes walk from many restaurants and the promenade. We made the whale tours and the distance was not far. In fact, it was a pleasant morning walk View all feedback.

An okay option for a quick stay. I would not like to spend time in the room. The bed was comfortable and at the first glance it looked well cleaned, but they have missed the details (like the wall close to the bed). The bed was put into the corner which isn't optimal if you are 2 people. Plus for hot water in the shower, with good pressure, and for free morning coffee. No safety available. Cash only. Most interesting thing was the beds. They had a different firmness to each, so my wife could enjoy the tougher mattress while I slept in the softer one. Its within easy walking distance of many restaurants and the boardwalk. We did the whale tours and the distance was not far. In fact it was a pleasant morning stroll
When people ask me about the best hotel at the best price in Samana, my answer is always the same : Samana Spring Hotel. Unbeatable quality to price ratio at about $35 USD per night. This is a newer hotel with large size beds, AC, warm water, WIFI, and quiet neighborhood yet close to downtown Samana, the marina and malecon at only 2 minutes walk. I've been living in Samana for over 7 years and i do send all my friends at Samana Spring when they come and visit me from up north ! VERY HAPPY GUESTS ALWAYS !
It's a nice place to stay, quiet and quaint. It's close to the bay and it's a great place to sleep. Highly recommend it.
