We had a delicious sandwich packed with a generous amount of meat and toppings. My husband and I shared it, and it was large enough to leave us both satisfied. The beautiful terrace seating allowed us to enjoy a view of La Presidio on the street. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Three Pickles Sub Sandwiches:
I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about. They use regular deli meats and plain bread—nothing noteworthy. You can find sandwiches of comparable quality at grocery stores like Sprouts for a much better price. Furthermore, the staff didn't seem very engaged or happy during my last visit. View all feedback.

I really don’t understand what all the fuss is about. They use standard deli meats and regular bread—nothing exceptional at all. You could easily find a comparable sandwich at grocery stores like Sprouts, and it would cost you a lot less. Additionally, the staff didn’t seem very enthusiastic about their jobs during my visit.
The Reuben sandwich was tasty, but I recommend asking for the bread to be toasted a bit more, as it became somewhat soggy towards the end. The service was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable at $12. I’ll definitely return, especially since it’s located right across the street from a flea market on Saturdays, which is a lot of fun. I went back and tried the meatball sub, and it was incredible! Next time, I’ll be getting the XL size.
I dine there frequently, but I've noticed that their new staff member at the counter isn't very helpful. They really need to focus on the appearance and hygiene of their new employees if they want to retain my patronage. Additionally, it's clear that their new location in Chapala hasn't attracted the same clientele as the previous deli.
They closed 40 minutes early on a Friday afternoon? I was trying to feed a basketball team of 15 kids and wanted to support the local community, but that was not possible here! The staff simply said, "Sorry, we're already closing up!" I guess 2:20 is too late for lunch?
