I have always enjoyed this quaint and welcoming sushi bar. I look forward to returning, as I believe that aside from their excellent sushi, a big part of the experience is interacting with the staff and other patrons when they are back in the dining room. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shintori Sushi:
I went to order sushi, but the lady told me that she had already taken many orders that day and couldn't take mine, even though I only wanted 2 rolls. She also made another customer behind me wait for 30 minutes for their order. What kind of service is this? View all feedback.
Sashimi was very fresh and delicious. Some of the fancy rolls left me wishing I had just got more sashimi.
Bad costumer service, owner super rude, my dish was smaller than what the menu said, it took more than 30 min go get my order, employees give you what they want instead of what you are paying for and they don't pay attention to your request when placing the order, prices are higher.
Ok spot for tasty Japanese food. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.
Great cozy little neighborhood sushi restaurant serving up classic Japanese fare and fresh sushi. Went for dinner and ordered miso soup, spicy edamame, and the 'Tie-Die ' roll. The soup was well balanced and flavorful, the edamame was too mild to be called 'spicy ' and a bit over streamed, but the sushi roll was outstanding. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to please. Overall I had a great experience.
Delicious sushi, reasonably priced. The shintori dome is a MUST! It has salmon, tuna, shrimp, crab, and avocado over a ball of rice, topped with the most delicious sauce. The other rolls/sushi were good too. There's only a couple of tables, so if you want sushi during a peak meal time, I recommend ordering for pick up.
