Sama Sama Kitchen - Santa Barbara

I highly recommend having a reservation because it is popular and it made our experience easy getting seated right away! We were seated in the cute back patio. The host recommended the signature wings and the waitress recommended the duck salad both dishes are award winning dishes. We also ordered the spare ribs and chicken bao bun. The bao was huge and left feeling very satisfied. One of the most flavorful restaurants I’ve ever been to!

Honestly overrated in my opinion by the reviews on google.. Small portions, flavor was nothing crazy and overpriced in my opinion. They also have a mandatory 20% gratuity that makes no sense to me. It ok.I wouldn’t come again here for dinner, was expecting something else.

Very good menu full of unusual tasty dishes. I've only had really great food at Sama Sama. Note that this can be a pretty spendy place to eat. Very fun and creative cocktail menu. Service was efficient, although I was a bit surprised to see an automatic 20% service charge added to a table for 4. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience here. The menu was unique and the perfect size where you had options but weren’t overwhelmed. The flavours were delicious and our service was great from the start with the hostess and our waitress. The atmosphere was very lovely and romantic.

Strong drinks and really incredible chicken wings. We ordered a second round of chicken wings for dessert haha
