While the food consistently impresses with its creativity and presentation—highlighted by the duck appetizer and mouthwatering entrees like herb-crusted salmon—service remains a significant concern. Guests report initial attentiveness, often marred by lapses, with waitstaff occasionally overwhelmed during busy periods. The vibrant atmosphere and local charm are inviting, yet the dining experience can suffer from organizational issues. Overall, Opal is celebrated for its delicious offerings, but potential visitors should be prepared for a possible wait in service despite their culinary delights.
Outstanding food. I had Wild mushroom stuffed chicken breast w/ herb risotto and my Man had Herb crusted salmon in Thai coconut curry. Both were delicious, Our waiter, Matt took great care of us. We'll be back.
ALWAYS a favorite restaurant for superb food, the very best staff, beautiful interior, superb wine list great drinks. Why go anywhere else??
The service and food are excellent. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and the chef is creative and clever. Everything I've ever eaten there has been incredible a real treat!!
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Roasted tomato and Marsala sauce was super tasty and I had an extra dish. Really good place to eat if you are in the area.
Great food, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. We had the lemongrass encrusted salmon and a wild mushroom pizza. Both were really flavorful and the portions were exactly right.
