This restaurant is gorgeous. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I tried the enchiladas with octopus and prawns, and they were the best enchiladas I've ever had! The food and drinks were of very good quality. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with a salsa bar that is pretty cool. The customer service is fantastic and there is plenty of easy-to-find parking. If you're in Santa Barbara, you must give... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Los Agaves:
No service like a traditional restaurant but look like it would give you one. No one explains how the ordering works, that you just walk into then order, kinda just a fancy king taco with a pretty view. Food is good, ratios are way off. 70%veggie 30% actual thing you wanted to try. Bathrooms very clean, staff is nice and helpful View all feedback.
The parking space is the most tricky part of this facility. that is a good and bad thing, as it clearly shows that it is a sought-after place. the prizes are a bit up but what they get in the opposite makes it so worth it. the salsas are amazing and there is an salsa that is extremely hot and I love it we were not too popular coming from our appetizer to the same time as our meal, but we were shocked how fast the food came out. the horchata was authentic and it is just a great place to have some delicious latin food. the steak was so tender and boasting in the taste that they practically have a food gasm. authentic eating, salsa and they will be full and possibly with remnant as their portion size is decent.
Highly recommend this place. I had the chicken mole. Could of used a little bit more mole sauce. I just wanted about 2 spoons of mole and was going to get charged for it. I decided against it even though I tipped them already $30 from my amount of $120. The drinks are good.
This is one of our go to spots in Santa Barbara. Food is always awesome! Steak nachos and the enchiladas plate. They have a nice verity at the salsa bar. The fish tacos are also amazing and fresh.
One of the best Mexican food places I've been to. Food came out under 10 minutes. I got the Agave burrito and it was excellent (they put this mango salad dressing on the salad ... could eat a bucket of salad with that on it). The birria tacos were really good as well, it's on the special menu, you can ask for it. Out of our group of eight people, we didn't get one thing we didn't like.
