Wow! I couldn't believe it when I saw the array of delicious gluten-free baked goods and breads. We ended up getting lunch, dessert, and even some bread to take home. The friendly service made the experience even better. I would recommend going early so you can take your time and savor every bite. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lilac Patisserie:
I'm sure it depends on time of day, but parking sucked. Expect to park on the street, or get dropped off by whoever is driving. We came on a Friday around 3:00-4:00. The shop is spacious and minimally decorated but so cute! I didn't get a chance to try any of the other flavors but the melon I got, was good. I just wish I didn't get it in a cone, as it's sorbet and not milk based to match the taste of the cone. The se... View all feedback.
Oh my goodness gracious! An entire array of delicious gluten free pastries and breads meant we bought lunch, then took dessert and a load of bread to go. Service with a smile made this a perfect day. Go early. You'll want to take your time to enjoy every bite.
We got a green tea, the vegetable quiche, a dirty chai latte and a breakfast sandwich. The food was good. The quiche was dead on, and the breakfast sandwich was pretty good as well. I had higher hopes for the brioche my sandwich was made with, but maybe it just wasn't their best bake. The drinks were enjoyable though. My biggest complaint here is value. With tip, our breakfast was $50, and honestly it just wasn't worth that. The place is pretty cute though, and the people are friendly. I personally wouldn't make the return trip for breakfast anyway, but I can understand why someone would.
This is a fantastic gluten-free bakery. Everything here is delicious and they also serve breakfast and brunch items. They close at 2pm so make sure to come early.
This restaurant is a lovely place with a wide selection of gluten-free options, perfect for my brother-in-law who has celiac disease. The establishment is always bustling, with a clean and pleasant interior. The staff behind the counter are friendly, and the food is delicious. If you're interested in ordering a cake or baked good, it's best to call ahead. The quiche is especially fantastic!
During our visit to Santa Barbara, we made a point to find a gluten-free bakery for our mid-morning breakfast. The section of State Street where the bakery was located was car-free, making our leisurely stroll from block to block quite peaceful. We opted to share our breakfast, choosing a sweet dish (French toast with fruit) and a savory one (eggs Benedict). It was a fantastic decision! Our food arrived promptly, accompanied by a beautifully crafted latté. Sitting outside, we savored each delicious bite and truly enjoyed the experience. This place is definitely worth seeking out.
