Jill's Place - Santa Barbara

It was the worst dining experience I've ever had. I asked for a medium-well steak, and it was way too overcooked. When I returned it, the steak came back grey and completely raw on the inside. I regularly go to steak houses and know how to order a steak properly, and I have never had this issue. This restaurant used to be a favorite, but I will never be returning. The quality of the steak was horrible. I paid about 50 dollars for my meal and left hungry.

Cozy spot in Santa Barbara. The sliders were so good. I wished that I would have ordered a full burger. The chimichurri fries were delicious. The steak bites were great and just delicious all the way around. Lemon drop martini was great. And the Hoppy Poppy Fig Mtn beer was great! Definitely will return to this place! Hidden Gem in Santa Barbara.

Jill's consistently delivers good food at a fair price. We've visited Jill's several times. The drinks are always tasty, the steaks well prepared and the service is solid. Despite the fact that Jill's is downtown, it always has a locals feel. I think it is frequented by many regulars. There are other fancier steak houses in town, but expect to pay a lot more for the food and drinks. We like Jill's because it is an unpretentious place to grab a good meal with friends. We will return, hopefully soon.
