Harbor House Inn - Santa Barbara

Loved my stay at the Harbor House Inn! Perfect location with walking distance to the beach and downtown (also have bikes and scooters to borrow), unique room layouts with lots of space, amazing customer service, everything was great!

Old time motor inn. Sweet rooms. Comfy beds. Kitchenette. The motor lodge rooms are great clean and neat just not over the top luxury. Located one block from the beach. Stop by the office daily for fresh fruit, chocolates, and water refills. Great outdoor gathering spaces. Parking onsite. Walk to the beach, restaurants, and the funk zone. Highly recommend Harbor House Inn!!

Coolest hotel I've every stayed in. You practically feel like you just moved into a studio apartment right off of the beach. They give you just about everything you need minus a washer/dryer. You can tell they care about giving you a good experience with all of the small touches. The location is also amazing. You have direct access to the beach and you can also take a 10 minute walk over to the funk zone and find a lot of dining and bars to explore. Didn't feel unsafe at all walking at night with my GF. My only regret is I didn't stay longer. I will definitely be picking this place if I'm ever in town again.

I absolutely loved my stay here at Harbor House Inn! I feel so lucky to have found this gem. So cute..great location, great customer service, unique amenities, beautiful furnishings, a heavenly bed, everything was TOP NOTCH!! Paul checked me in and was so personable and helpful and the same with Cody in the morning. Customer service is very important to me and both of these guys are the BEST! I highly recommend, I've already told my friends and family about it. It was hard for me to leave and I hope to come back one day!

Look no further Harbor House is special. So much to love where do I begin? First, to get the best price, BOOK DIRECTLY with the hotel; it will also enable you to communicate directly with the hotel versus a third party. We usually stay in 5 star properties, but when we saw the rates at these properties in Santa Barbara were between $1,000 $2,000 per night, we decided to research other options, and we are glad we did! Our room had a large, comfortable bed, and bedding was high quality; towels were fluffy and soft. Additionally, the little kitchenette was well stocked: refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, half and half, tea kettle, tea, glasses, silverware, etc. We were concerned that the parking out front might be noisy, and we are light sleepers, but that was not the case, it was very quiet, and we slept well. We loved that the hotel is one block from the beach in a residential area, making it much quieter than staying on the main drag with four lanes of traffic. I used the bikes daily they were brand new, and the hotel also provided nice beach towels. The owners have thought of every detail to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I also love that the owners are there every day and so responsive. Cody, Mark, and Karen were available and incredibly helpful throughout our five day stay. We will definitely be back.
