This was my first experience at Chuck's. It was quite busy due to Father's Day, and they offered a happy hour from 5 to 6 PM. Luckily, we managed to find a spot at the bar... View all feedback.
What Yves Delannoy doesn't like about Chuck's Steakhouse Of Hawaii:
Their steak chef is terrible. Ordered a $40 t-Bone Medium rare, it came out well done, I asked for one actually Medium Rare. They sent out a second one totally rare and cold in the center. Rest of the food was nice and the staff were friendy, the chicken turned out nice, the chef just can't cook a steak to save his life. View all feedback.
Chuck's is a popular steak house in Santa Barbara. I had been for Happy Hour appetizers with friends before, but had no chance to stop for dinner until now. I ordered the steak and scallops, the steak was tender and tasty. The scallops dipped in garlic butter and wonderful! Your Teriyaki chicken was tender and just as good as the steak. They have a small but decent salad bar, and their pumpernickel bread is some of the best I had. They make their own crumbs, and this night they were burned. My rum and coke were perfect, the service was very good. Alarm, friendly and efficient. Pricey, but in this case you get what you pay.
For over 30+ years of my dining experiences this has to be one of the top 10. Consistency great steaks and seafood. The service is wonderful, attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as well as frequent dining. Thanks to Chucks Steakhouse for over 50 years of serving the community.
We haven't been out in a long time. We Went to Chuck's and had Great service, delicious food, and friendly staff. The lobster and steak plate and it was yummy, love the teriyaki rice. The salad bar is amazing too. Our server was great and kept checking on us even though she was very busy. I highly recommend going here for dinner or drinks and apps. Relaxing atmosphere, beachy feel and theme.

We were visiting Santa Barbara to see family and ate dinner here. We haven?t been here since the pandemic, and glad that they offered outdoor dining. Our server, Chad, was very friendly and excellent. They were very busy yet our server and other staff were attentive. We enjoyed our delicious salad, bread, and dinner. We?ve been over the years and highly recommend.
