While some dishes like the venison and creative approach to escargot stood out, others like the fish and wagu steak fell short. The service was top-notch, the wine selection was good, and the overall experience was deemed good, but not great. Despite some inconsistencies in the food quality, many guests praised the excellent service and atmosphere. The outdoor seating, though set up due to Covid, was well done. Diners enjoyed beautifully prepared dishes like the Salade Lyonnaise and Sea Bass, making it a place worth visiting in Santa Barbara.
WOW, just wow! Celebrated my birthday here last night and this was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door! Beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, Michelin star quality food and fantastic wine pairings! I cannot recommendthis place enough! So happy to have found this local Santa Barbara gem!
You will never be disappointed at this restaurant! The food is beautiful, delicious, and mouthwatering, paired perfectly with a great selection of wines. The service is always exceptional, with well-prepared dishes and knowledgeable servers who are happy to make wine recommendations based on your preferences. Desserts are always delicious, and overall, it's always a lovely dining experience.
The dinner was amazing, but I recommend skipping the dessert. The trio of sea scallops and the forest mushroom ragout were a fantastic way to start the meal. I wish we had chosen the carpaccio scallop as a main course, as it was light and buttery. All of our main courses were delectable, well presented, and paired perfectly with the wine recommendations from our waiter. The only downside was that the cream puffs we ordered for dessert were stale and not enjoyable.
The food and wine at this restaurant are excellent! The service is great and we enjoyed sitting outside in a fun atmosphere. The owner is always on site, ensuring good service and customer satisfaction. Just a heads up, if you don't like raw scallops, avoid ordering it as an appetizer. My personal favorites were the French onion soup and the cheese tart!
Excellent dinner. Our server David was extremely informative. The wine is Stewart came over and bought us to taste of fabulous new style California wine. The entire dinner was an excellent experience. We were just traveling through a period
