The food here is sooo good. Loved it. The Samosas were so fresh and tasty. My vegetarian meal was great and I really liked the rice. We also had garlic Naan bread and it was great. The service here was so friendly and nice. Overall just great. View all feedback. What Melody Om doesn't like about Tamira:
Came in at 8:50pm. They close at 9:30, but close the kitchen at 9:00? I used the restroom immediately after we sat down and when I got back, my partner said he had to order for me because the server said they were closing. I didn't even get a chance to look at the menu! They brought the two mediocre dishes out with one small bowl of rice for us to split. Seriously? I asked for more rice and they ended up charging us... read moreNestled in downtown Santa Barbara, Tamira stands out as a beloved Indian restaurant, celebrated for its consistently delicious food and attentive service. Diners rave about the extensive buffet, featuring fresh, flavorful dishes like vegetable samosas, Aloo Gobi, and Chicken Masala, complemented by fragrant garlic naan and homemade chutneys. The warm ambiance, complete with semi-outdoor seating and Bollywood music, enhances the dining experience. Patrons appreciate the reasonable prices, particularly for the lunch buffet, and the owners’ commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. While some notes of rushed service emerged at closing time, the overall sentiment is one of enthusiasm for this culinary gem.
