Ate lunch here yesterday. I was very excited to find a restaurant in Santa Rosa with Korean food. Tov Tofu was disappointing because my food lacked flavor. Even with the addition of a lot of their hot sauce it lacked flavor. The little trays of appetizers had no flavor. Too much sweetness to all the sauce. It’s a personal opinion but the sweetness don’t really elevate the sauce nor the sushi for me; the sweetness (sugar I presume) just taste like sugar separate from the sauce. View all feedback.
Came here based on high reviews on here and Yelp. My husband tried the Korean Fried Chicken, able to split two flavors (no extra charge), chicken natural not previously frozen, tasted crispy from being over cooked vs fried well, reheated upon order as it was barely warm enough actually more cold than hot, and the sauce was very sweet.Tofu soup was sizzling and interesting, had beef, a few thin slivers of beef (not enough), lots of veggies, egg dropped in with some tofu.Service extremely friendly and patient answering my questions. They are clean, polite and greet you as you come in and walk out. The food is delicious. I had the vegetable Tofu soup, the scallop roll, and the Agedashi Tofu.
The Spider Rrito was great! I'll definitely be eating at Tov Tofu again!
Hidden Gem in Santa Rosa. Loved the food..Got golden gate sushi.and squid bibimbap.Heamool pajeon is one of the best as well.Food: 5/5
