I don't even know where to begin. Everything, from the food to the service, was top notch. We ordered multiple appetizers as tapas. All excellent, especially the guacamole and the bacon-wrapped figs stuffed with blue cheese. I will be going back to try more of their unique, interesting and delicious food. View all feedback.

My husband and I got a rare dinner alone and decided to try Lola Gaspar. The restaurant is cool with a long bar, lots of nook tables, and an outside eating area. We had some aquavit cocktails and several small plates, including shrimp and chorizo tacos, Spanish octopus, and guacamole and chips. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Service was nice, but a bit slow. I think they need more waiters. Not a family restaurant, but a great date spot. I will go back.
This place totally awesome. Unique tasty menu items, and the adult beverages are delish. Greg, our waiter for the evening became our Spirit Guide . He also leads the Freedom train on Thursdays! Accommodated seating is comfy with adequate
The carne asada tacos cooked over a mesquite fire on Tuesdays are special. The chicken tacos are solid, but I much prefer the carne asada. While the prices are on the high end for tacos, they are worth it. There was no beer on tap during my visits. The canned beer tasted a little flat.
We were not sure what to expect when we came here. We were just trying to take advantage of a rare date night with no kids. And boy did we hit the jackpot! Amazing food, incredible food and excellent service. We shared the guac and chips to start the night with our drinks. Their guac has Cotija cheese on it which just took it to another level. We then shared some bacon wrapped dates. These had a wonderful surprise as they were stuffed with blue cheese. I'll be the first to avoid blue cheese, but man did these flavors marry! My wife had a Chile Relleno, while I had an octopus taco and tiger shrimp taco. To end the night we had their amazing churros which came with an amazing Abuelitas chocolate dipping sauce...unreal! It's located in the heart of DT Santa Ana. Cool place to walk around. They have plenty of patio seating available as well. Just give it a try, you wont be disappointed!
