Amazing food. This is my second time here and everything was amazing. I had ordered carne asada fries this time and my hubby ordered the breakfast chorizo plate. Great service everytime very attentive. Most definitely will be going back and this is a place I can actually order different items from. Simply great!! Next time I'm trying drinks! What Diana H doesn't like about Taqueria El Sombrero #2:
Mixed feelings on this one. We had a couple of excellent tacos, enjoyed the excellent beverage selection, and the very nice staff. The location is not ideal, perched at a super busy intersection, but the tented patio seating area is somewhat effective at helping to create a sense of separation from all the traffic. What led to the low star rating was the almost carbonized fajitas... Maybe a fluke and worth a revisit,... View all feedback.

The quintessential local Mexican restaurant with excellent authentic menu items and great service. If coming for dinner on the weekend, be prepared for a little wait due to their popularity. Highly recommend the super burritos in all meat options. I love the grilled chicken, but the beef and carnitas are just as delicious
If I could give this place a 10 I would. Gave this place a second chance thinking it was a fluke the first time. Nope. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL . My son ordered the green enchiladas and a burrito which were completely inedible. The green sauce on the enchiladas looked like it was dyed green, the meat was dry, the burrito was dry, beans tasted like they came from a can, and justed tasted as if it had been microwaved to death, I had the super burrito, which came cold, the cartnitas tasted old and were not crispy at all, no rice, no beans, full of lettuce, which tells me straight off, not authentic as their sign says, we additionally had ordered 3 super burritos to go, one carne asada burrito had meat and rice only completely dry, meat appeared reheated and old, one carne asada had everything, and the pastor had meat and beans only. Every item furthermore had so much salt that you couldn't even really taste anything else. The horchata had so much cinnamon that it tasted as if you were drinking powdered cinnamon. It was Saturday and the staff seemed more attentive to the young men hanging out than the dining customers. Everything was left with 2 bites taken out of it and was not even asked by staff what was wrong. The chips and guacamole were the only edible items we had. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!
This place has been the best for years they hung tight through Covid and came back even stronger love this place
