La Fontana restaurant inside the Hilton Santa Clara lobby offers a good dining experience overall, despite some shortcomings. While the temperature in the restaurant was chilly and the menu was limited, the quality of the food was top-notch. The braesola starter was a bit disappointing but the pasta was salty and dry. The service was fantastic, although there were some noise issues during a business meeting. The pris-fixed Valentine's Day dinner was decent, with average appetizers but good main courses and desserts. La Marea, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise with outstanding food and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the food and service at La Fontana made up for any minor issues, making it a worthwhile dining experience.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant! It was excellent. Came out piping hot, was flavorful and we'll presented. The environment was quiet and pleasant. The servers were cordial and attentive. Loved it!
The restaurant is really bad. The glass are dirty and I needed wait about 45 minutes just for a soup!!! Not recommend!!!
Went for a business lunch, small party of 3. Nice restaurant. Was quiet, not crowded. We were seated immediately. Host and servers were friendly and very attentive. I had a pastrami Reuben and a lemonade which was fine. Would definitely go back.
