Love the food at Jaguar. Fresh, authentic, handmade Mexican food that is always exceptional in flavor. This service has always been a little slow, which is forgivable for delicious handcrafted food. But this particular evening, the service was REALLY slow. Two servers for tables with no host or busser. They did give us free chips and salsa and a generous pour on the glass of wine to compensate. The food was awful. Both myself and my friend did not finish our meals. I got expensive dish, special for Mother's Day, lobster and prawns. It was bland and a little off flavored. Macaroni salad was tasteless. My friend got another Mother's Day special, rainbow trout which she probably only eight of. This is without a doubt the #1 Mexican Cuisine in Santa CruzI use the word CUISINE to separate it from all the other Mexican Restaurants.
