Cool little hidden gem of a coffee shop. Service was insanely fast. Got my coffee and croissant in less than two minutes. Great place to study or get some work done. Only gripe was the croissant was just so doughy. Had no crust on the outside… just soft. And the bag it was served in was wax paper so it felt greasy. Other than that, coffee was fantastic! What kalyn brown doesn't like about Hidden House Coffee:
The staff here is wonderful!! They took their Ube Latte off the menu which is super disappointing! I have come here every Friday for the past 6 months to work. I kept coming for Ube Latte. The music is always a little too loud to take any work calls and sitting on a hard bar stool for an hour or so gets really uncomfortable. This place has a lot to improve on. When you make an excellent drink, find a way to keep it o... View all feedback.
I got the hot cocoa and avo toast. The hot cocoa was yummy, not too sweet. The avo toast was pristine and so flavorful (heads up they have the avo toast only Friday-Sunday)Friendly staff too. I studied here for 4 hours and loved every minute ?
Oh wow, the bacon and cheddar scone was unexpectedly the best scone I think I’ve ever had? My bf and I split one, then promptly got up and ordered a second one. Some things shouldn’t be shared! ?The coffee was equally excellent. 10/10

Love this fun coffee shop in Santa Ana. Once the trolly is done it will just add to the great vibe. It has a bit of a brewery vibe inside with a big back patio that is awesome when the weather is good. Their pastries and food are great and they make them all in house as far as I know. The breakfast burritos are delicious.
The staff, the atmosphere, the drinks, everything here was exactly what I want from a coffee shop. The drinks are superb and I would consider getting decaf just so I could have multiple drinks in one sitting. I am a huge foam snob and theirs is perfect. The staff seems to get along with each other and have fun while working, which makes the overall experience that much more enjoyable. We were also able to take our dogs onto the patio and relax while enjoying our almond croissants and drinks. Hidden House is the Seattle cafe experience brought to Orange County and I can't think of a better compliment. I am looking forward to becoming a regular.
