Guests praised the impeccable cooking of John and the charming hospitality of Liz. Even with a packed and noisy crowd during their last days, guests were treated to exceptional dishes like Hawaiian Swordfish and Noisette of Veal. The restaurant has been a staple in the community, hosting winemaker dinners and serving as a premier dining destination. With favorites like duck, angel hair lobster, and a fantastic vegetarian plate, Downey's will be dearly missed by patrons old and new.
