Boca Chula - Sant Joan de Labritja

I love discovering this type of restaurant.. it renews my faith in the world.. the food here is incredible.. delicious fresh oysters.. the best croquettes I have ever tasted.. the truffle ones were out of this world.. home made duck Rillettes.. and a beautiful fresh fruit tartlette.. I've been in twice and only had snacks and starters and cant wait to go with a group to try more of the main courses. There is a very impressive selection of wines and champagnes.. great choices.. I had a fantastic welcome from Margaux and the team.. what a wonderful place.. wishing you all the best for your cool funky foodie friendly space bravissima xx

Great little restaurant. Upon first approach I looked at the restaurants either side and they were busier, so I was a little reserved but tried it anyway. The menu descriptions were basic, however everything was explained to us regarding the dish, spices and cooking. The order process was clear and precise which was super for us non Spanish speaking people. Anyway, I ordered a selection and placed a food order for the children too. They were able to adapt to what the children asked for so do not be put off by the adult menu. The childrens dishes were simple, yet they were still made to look presentable. The adult meals, fish with perfectly crispy skin, vegetable and smashed potatoes. Pasta with seafood were all amazing. They looked great however I forgot to take pictures. I loved that the menus are published each day depending upon what’s fresh!

Wow... !!! Sometimes you come across a new place that is so great! This restaurant had amazing friendly staff, amazing food sourced locally and great wine ... this is well worth visiting.

The dishes are so tasty! super friendly staff and attentive service. A family run restaurant serving quality local produce. So happy to find this place! I’ve been with my partner once and then again with a group of friends a few days after as loved it so much. And we will be back again very soon!!
