Contribute FeedbackWe visited this amazing place with some friends. It is quite far away, you have to pass Sant Antoni, head to Sta Agnés and then drive up to the hills into wonderfull woods and wild areas.. After a long drive you arrive to a small wooden refuge with a porch, surrounded by trees and with a big open space.. The restaurant is famous for barbecued meat and fish and you can feel the delicious smell immediately.. It is mandatory to have a car to get there and to study the direction cause it is to get lost and you do not encounter houses nor towns for a while.. Try to get there slightly before sunset. In fact the refuge is on a small open space facing the sea with an amazing panoramic view of the coast and the seaside on a deep cliff. The place is very simple and rustic. Few wooden tables down the porch and the stirring strong of the barbecues... Every day there is a special meal.. We were on the day of sardones , barbecued sardines with breadcrumb on the top.. we also ordered some seafood paella. As in all Ibiza, once seated you get a basket of delicious bread with alioli sauce (garlic and vinegar sauce) together with olives. Servings are huge and don 't exagerate with your order! Finish the meal with a delicious cream brulee, enriched with a cinnamon flavour, and a slice of local cheese cake prepared with goat cheese and mint leaves. Bring a spray to protect you against mosquitos, order some canas (beer) and enjoy the sunset sitting in the middle of the nature. Don 't expect the fancy, cool Ibiza restaurant, but a genuine, secluded and typical restaurant. All the food is fresh and availability depend on the daily fish. A little heaven, simple but authentic.
