At the beginning I thought that I cannot expect anything good in this bar. It is very close to the train and boat so I was expecting high prices and rather low quality. Fortunately prices were very reasonable (for chilli con carne I paid ~8 eur or so), quality good, portions rather large and service helpful. To sum up - very good place to have a dinner or just a coffee. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lillis Seecafe:
This place is better than average...............good. Popped in to get out of the rain. Just had a drink but wife did took a fancy to the apple streudel! It is right on the water's edge and opposite the Schafberg station. Clean and friendly. View all feedback.
Great location on the lake right opposite the mountain railway opens most days. Many tables and chairs outside to watch the ferries on the lake and across the street is the railway station for the mountain railway. Sensual menu and apple strudel is great. Only cash.
We sat down today and have the menu for drinks and cakes and waited for the service. With 28o heat and two small children we had water bottles on the table while we waited. We were aggressive and repeatedly said that drinking from our own bottles “not OK”. I can only assume that the waiter had a bad day. We took our money to a beautiful little place in Strobl.
More varied menu than a lot of small restaurants. Quick service, reasonable prices and very convenient between train and lack. Cash only! Don't be put off if tables are full, the quick service means one wil soon be free.
Great little cafe on the lake with outside dining. We decided to have lunch here while waiting for the boat to St. Gilgen. Food was good and the inside was quaint and charming. Great location while waiting for the boat or cog railway.
Stopped here for a beer, nice little place on the lake but unfortunately does not have it's own toilets was plagued by wasps. Friendly staff, nice beer.
