Contribute FeedbackI would say this restaurant has a better reputation than it deserves. I was there in November 2008 with my girlfriend and daughter. The Steckrübensuppe with Aal for 2,60EUR was a good deal,a dn quite good. The Rote Grütze for Dessert was homemmade and excellent as well. The problem was with the main courses. I had a Pannfisch, which was Dorsch and Salmon together with sliced potato pieces cooked in a mustard sauce. I thought the Dorsch was OK, btu the salmon was clearly underdone or of poor quality. The taste of the salmon was also not comlimentary to the mustard sauce, and my meal was best eaten if you avoided the salmon. My Girlfriend had the Seelachs with Tomato and Goatcheese. Admitted it is a combination which already sounds horrible, but she insisted on having it because she has enjoyed this form teh freezer from Igloo. Well, this abomination of northern fish with mediterannean cheese and tomatoe turned out to be an inedible disaster. The portions were quite large, so we could split the dorsch part of my meal. To be honest the starter and the dessert were so good I was surprised at how poor the main course was, perhaps we shoudl have stuck to the meat dishes, as they looked significantly better on other peoples plates. The ambience is cozy, the service was OK, and I thought the value was adequate. That being said I think there are better option in Dorf.
