One doesn't expect fine dining in a seaside, beach town - but Taverna Rhodos is an exception. Our meal was outstanding. Five stars! Taverna Rhodos is truly a hidden gem, a pleasant ten-minute walk from the busy and noisy tourist area.I had the Gourmet Grill plate with perfectly prepared lamb, pork, beef and giant shrimp. Beer (Pilsner) was fresh from the barrel. And complimentary ouzo completed our dining experience on the perfect note. We will definitely go back. After 6:00 p.m. both the restaurant and outdoor patio seem to fill up quickly, so reservations probably a good idea.
